Here's the bottom line-Ash called JWT and got the measurements from JWT and then did the measurements with a vanier caliper to verify what he had in the box from Z1. He had the feeling they may be rebuilt stock turbos right out of the box after looking at them. Rob called Z1 to let them know the senario. It seriously put a wrench in our time schedule and delayed the whole project by having to wait for the correct turbos to come in. And we are still waiting. It screwed all parties involved including Ash, me, Z1, and most importantly ROB, the customer. There was no reason for Ash to lie for it only screwed him as well out of monies not to mention with the time restraint we had. Not only that, we took the measurements and I saw them with my own two eyes. Z1 sent pics but whos to say if they took pics from another set. NOT SAYING THAT THEY DID, but of course they want to save face. For no better reason then just try to make Ash look wrong..This could of been a common mis-ship in which mistakes do happen. granted. I'm glad we took pics and measurements and we will soon know when the new turbos right from JWT come in if it was a common error on Z1's part or Ash's. I have nothing against Z1 right now and have nothing to gain. All I know is I was there when the measurements were taken and we knew what they had to be in order to be sport 500's because we called JWT. Ash knows alot. I mean, A hell of alot. Hell, he worked for Z1 also. Does this mean he took the wrong measurements for them when he was doing turbos for them?. This could be a simple misunderstanding of shipment but how SIMPLE OF A MISUNDERSTANDING IS IT when the car is put back together and its another serious payment for the customer for the turbo replacement or even motor replacement when he is trying to boost to sport 500 boost pressure and has stockers in there. It turns into a real big problem quick.. I'm glad you got the problem resolved Rob and no matter who's fault it is, I'm glad Z1 stepped up and HOPEFULLY will deliver. IT GOES TO SHOW YOU WHAT GOOD VENDERS DO. TOO BAD SOME VENDERS DON'T KNOW HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKS AND HOW TO MAN UP WHEN THEY ARE JUST FLAT OUT WRONG. HMMM, makes you wonder who I am talking about huh? Just for gits and shiggles, I have my money on Ash and my own two eyes. Rob, you'll be back on the road in a couple weeks when Ash comes back up and your car will be RIGHT my friend. Stage III to stage X. Wait till you feel the force Luke.. I'll call you this weekend and see how you are holding up through this nightmare. You, by the way, are a great guy to work with. HANG IN THERE LITTLE FELLA.LOL ERIK TURBO-FX.COM
